Essential storage

Security and owner sign-in may use platform-managed cookies. Cloudflare may set the __cf_bm security cookie (typically 30 minutes). We store your cookie choices locally under bronco-privacy-v2, and request a new choice after 180 days. Essential storage is used to operate the site and remember your choice, not for advertising.

Optional analytics

Only if you allow analytics, we record page visits, engagement, outbound links, campaign tags, a random browser identifier, IP address when provided by our hosting edge, device type, browser and operating system. IPs may represent a VPN, proxy, or shared network and do not identify an exact physical location. Device classifications are estimates.

The __Host-bronco-visitor cookie is an optional, secure, HTTP-only browser identifier lasting up to 30 days. Analytics also uses session storage (bronco-session and bronco-attribution) for session and campaign attribution; a new session begins after 30 minutes of inactivity. These are not set before analytics consent.

Optional advertising

Separately allowing advertising loads GroundTruth’s pixel for campaign measurement, Mecum-listing click events and retargeting audiences. GroundTruth may process network and device data and use its own cookies or identifiers. Its pixel stores a first-party gtpx_state cookie (configured for up to 360 days); we clear that cookie when advertising is off. GroundTruth’s privacy policy describes its processing and choices. Disabling advertising prevents future loading; if the pixel is already running, we reload the page to stop it. We cannot delete cookies held on another provider’s domain.

Optional precise location

Location is shared only when you choose “Share my location once” and grant browser permission. It is a single sample with an accuracy estimate, not background movement tracking.

Access and retention

Recorded site activity is visible only in the authenticated owner dashboard. It has a 30-day reporting window; precise coordinates have a 7-day window. Expired data is removed on the next collection or dashboard load. Ad-platform reports are stored separately by the owner. Data is hosted using the site’s infrastructure providers, including OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare.

Your choices

Use “Cookie & privacy settings” in the footer at any time. Analytics and advertising are off by default. “Essential only” turns both off and deletes site activity associated with this browser’s identifier. “Delete my site activity & turn off” does the same. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track disable optional tracking. If you have cleared the identifier, the site cannot automatically match previous activity to your browser.
